El Tunco isn't a concept — it's a conviction. We opened our doors on Tidwell Road with one stubborn belief: that Houston deserves a Mexican kitchen where every tortilla is pressed by hand, every salsa is made from scratch, and every visit feels like being welcomed into someone's home.

Our kitchen runs hot. We smoke chiles over open flame, slow-braise meats until they surrender, and blend our salsas in batches small enough to get right. The result? Food that hits different — bold, honest, and impossible to forget.
